Factually, I also massage men as well. But due to 'lone worker safety concerns' brought on by a few incidents in the past, with a few male clients, I am ONLY accepting new female clients !

Not a lot ! My massage table is approximately 1m x 2m but I will need a little room to move around, so ideally 1.5m x 2.5m should be the maximum I will need. I am not too bothered about the location of the space - my clients have used all types of rooms including their kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, and even their garden (when the weather was good enough) !

Hopefully, this would have been brought up during initial contact, prior to booking. But, I will need to arrange a consultation visit with a relative or carer present, so that I can assess the situation and decide if my skills and boundaries match your requirements. 

Some things for me to consider will be :-

Mobility - will you be able  to safely and comfortably get onto my massage table with little or no assistance ? If not, just how much assistance will you need ? - Will this be given by a relative or carer, or will I be expected to this for you ? Will the massage need to take place in your own specialist bed ? Is the bed adjustable and accessible for the required massage ?

Modesty - Will you be able to undress and dress yourself ? If not, then will there be someone there to do this for you ? Or will the massage need to be adjusted for you being fully clothed (compression massage)? In terms of draping, will I be able to do this safely and modestly with your disability ?

I have several clients with a form of disability ranging from strokes to injury recovery. However, If I feel that you are mentally impaired or overly vulnerable, then I may refuse to offer my services if it means that we will be the only ones in the property and insist on a carer or relative being present at all times !

Whatever you normally wear for a massage, as long as you are comfortable and can feel relaxed ! 

If this your first massage, then generally undress to a level you feel comfortable with, ensuring that whatever you do decide to wear (underwear) is loose and comfortable. Even if you decide to be fully naked, then rest assured, you will be draped throughout the massage with only the area of the body I am actually working on being exposed. If you have any concerns around this, then let me know beforehand or during the consultation, and I will try my best to accommodate your requirements.

• Prepare the room to your preference - Lighting level/candles, music playlist, temperature setting, room scent, water, etc

• Have a shower - No need to shave

• Put on a robe or warm comfortable clothing

• Prepare any questions you may have for me  before the massage begins

• Relax, and when I arrive, enjoy your massage experience !
